I don’t know what the 1-star reviewers were expecting for the price, but the game is not that bad. It could be much better, though. After playing the bowling games in the Sports and Sports Resort, it seems more difficult to get spares and strikes. At least you have many choices of skins for the bowling ball, and there are many characters to choose as your player but they tend to be a little too chatty. If you have the cash to spare, I would recommend it.
Even 1980 video games are better!!! Not only is it the most disgraceful game but it won’t recognize other Wii remotes. If you want a fun bowling stick with the Wii Sports game disc.
My kids liked how you can choose the different balls, characters and lanes. They didn’t mind the graphics or physics of the game. It may be less realistic than the original Wii bowling, but the different balls, characters, and lanes make up for it.
Don’t waste your money! This is the worst wii game I’ve ever played. Wii Sports is 100x better. You won’t play this one more than 5 mins. Compared to Wii Sports Bowling; AMF has terrible graphics and it’s not as realistic.
Just got this game, and thought it would be nice to have a “real” bowling game. Big mistake. The only nice things about this game were different bowling venues and plenty of different balls to choose from.
- Gameplay is awful, it’s impossible to hook the ball
- The characters are annoying with the same like six catch phrases repeated Over and Over and Over again
- The mini games are ridiculous, I was able to get them but it wasn’t a matter of any sort of skill throwing it, and the game where you are supposed to hook the ball is straight impossible
- Graphics are terrible
