This is a good game. I just picked up my copy from Gamestop. I can’t wait to go shopping. Enjoy
I LOVE AC. This game is great and going into the city is fun. You will like this game it has more stuff in it and graphics are a lot better.
As someone who really enjoyed Animal Crossing: Wild World, I was very excited when I heard about City Folk. I was expecting the same basic gameplay but with better graphics, new characters, new furniture, new collectibles, and maybe a new feature or two. This game fails at providing anything new whatsoever.
This game was an extreme disappointment for me. It is ridiculous to even call it a full-fledged expansion pack. This is the exact same game as Wild World just repackaged. The graphics are barely better than the those from the DS game, the fish and bugs are exactly the same, the fruit and shells are exactly the same, the fossils and tools are exactly the same, the neighbors are exactly the same, all the shops are EXACTLY THE SAME (just now they are in a “city” instead of being special events). The is nothing new to see or do in this game.
What, if anything, has been changed for this “new” game? A NEW FONT! That’s it! Do not waste $50. Just get out your DS and play Wild World again.
My friend rented it and it was so fun I spent 2 to 3 hours on this game. I even beat talking to everyone for her. she says its hard but its not. This game is better than the first animal crossing for the gamecube. But I hate and love that you have to use real time. I hate about the game is that it does not go fast enough. But I love how you get to use real to do stuff thats hard.(theres nothing hard) If you have a Wii I would recomend buying this. But if you don’t buy animal crossing for the DS, but don’t buy any more you would not like it and return it the next day.(or the same day if you get far enough). I would recomend it to 4 to 10 year olds mabey 3 to 11 year olds but thats any body over 11 it would suck big thime!!!!!!
Ok, I have owned the game cube version, the ds version and now this one. What is the difference? NOT MUCH! I wish I had saved my $50.00. Now dont get me wrong, this is a great game if its the first time you have owned Animal Crossing but if you are expecting a different game, well, you will be dissapointed!
