But Amazon never posted it. Went into detail about the game and being an actual gamer the information would be useful to anyone interested in buying. Oh well!
I picked out and bought this game based on previous reviews and I was not let down! My husband and son love playing this game. I even got sucked into the deer shooting and I’m not much for hunting games. It really is fun! The narative can get a little annoying but it is worth the $$!
I love this game!
It’s a Deer Hunting game that reminds me a lot of old school duck hunting. You are positioned in one place and the target animals run (well the ducks flew) back and forth across the screen.
You are given a limitless supply of bucks to shoot. Does are negative points and there’s always the possibility of being mauled by a bear or moose and ending the round prematurely.
You use the Nunchuck to reload and to use breath control (one of the special bonuses you can get for shooting a marked animal)
In the advanced mode it’s even more fun as you don’t one-hit kill the animals. If you don’t have a vital shot you need to continue to shoot them until you’ve done enough damage to take them down. Advanced mode doesn’t get rid of the one-hit kill though, if you get a vital shot you’ll still drop the deer in one. You even get bonus points for shotting birds, rabbits and squirrels.
Very fun for as many as four people. Compete with two players on the same board, play solo, or take turns with up to four players. I play this game with the Nyko Perfect Shot Gun and I find it very accurate and easy to use.
One negative, it can be a real pain in the butt if you don’t know how to add player two!!
** Before you select two player mode, on the main menu screen press the Home Key and go into the Wii Remote Settings.
Here you can “Reconnect the Controllers”
Then simply reconnect the player one controller, and then add the player two controller.
Then back out of that menu and select two player vs. mode and you’ll be ready to go! **
I love this game. I never thought I would like a hunting game but this one is fun. The deer keep coming and you just keep shooting. The hardest part is to not shoot the does.
This game ROCKS!! The beginer level is pretty easy but when you hunt on normal you need to bring it. Hours and hours of fun for me and the boy. By far the best shooting game I have played yet.
