These drumsticks look great, but they broke apart completely the first time my 15 year old son used them. He has used his other drumsticks for over a year, took these out of the package and had one fly apart while he was playing. He went back to his old drumsticks. I know no one will refund my money–no one ever does these days. Don’t bother wasting your money on this product. Definitely not worth it!!!!!!!
I actually prefer the drum pad silencers with the regular sticks. I purchased both the pads and the rubber tip sticks at the same time though. After putting on the pads, I find that the regular sticks sound about as quiet as these rubber tipped ones and the regular sticks provide much better bounce on the pads. Save your money. Buy one or the other – not both. Not that these do not work, just that they are not needed if you have the pads and actually I doubt I will ever use them now. They just do not work well with the pads, in my opinion.
The sticks themselves are decent. The rubber tips seem to fly off at random, though, which can be kind of annoying.
I love, love, LOVE my new drum sticks! They are very sturdy, but not too heavy. I personally don’t care for the rubber tips, so I just don’t use them. Everyone always compliments my drumsticks…because they are awesome!!
they are not a bad drum stick, Rubber tips are absolutely worthless as they do help the sound at all. The sticks definatly have a better feel than the ones I got with the drum set.
