While the game falls under fairly traditional platform game fair the puzzles are actually really well thought out. Using the two characters available to you per level you will be tasked with harnessing each member of the Simpsons family skills to advance. Something I found to be a lot of fun on my own but quickly became extra awesome with a friend. The comedy is spot on and all of the voice actors loan their talents to make the game feel like an episode of the TV show. The only major gripe I have is the typical platform game camera that rarely points in the right direction without your hands on control. Definitely worth the d'oh! I have been a Simpsons fan since day one and was overly excited to have the Simpsons come to the Wii platform. As a fan of the Simpsons I was enticed by the idea of 37 clips of new Simpsons animation, it wasn't worth it. I was also enticed by the fact that the actual actors of the show provided the voices, again, it wasn't worth my 50 bucks. <br /> <br />Not to ruin the game for anyone that will be so inclined to buy or rent this game, but play the game on mute if you wish to play it. The amount of times that the stupid catch phrases are repeated through out the game are annoying enough to cause you to want to put your Wii-mote through your TV. Not to ruin the game for anyone that will be so inclined to buy or rent this game, but play the game on mute if you wish to play it. The Wii is known as a platform for more casual gamers who want a different level of physical interactivity, not hardcore gamers who want to spend hours figuring out the right timing and combination of joystick/button presses. <br /> <br />Aside from the fact that this is simply not the platform for this game, the game itself has the most annoying camera movement and controls I've ever seen. I'm also a huge Simpsons fan, but by the time I quit, I absolutely wanted to strangle my formerly beloved voiceover actors. Get stuck on a move like I was, and you'll be treated to an endless loop of the same spectacularly unfunny lines. They went through all this trouble to animate cut scenes and to get the actors voices. But the graphics of gameplay and in general the challenge and fun of gameplay are lacking. We drove all over town looking for a copy and when we played it at home we were more bored than excited. It's not so much as it being hard, but just irritating to accomplish the brain-dead tasks needed. While playing the Single Player mode your constantly having to switch characters to unlock hidden doors and fight enemies which is more annoying than fun. In CO-OP mode you are more accessible to getting separated in each map due to not having a radar available. The special powers that each character possess donot make any sense, for example bart doesn't fly, but fall slower than usual and we couldn't figure out how to kill any enemies as Big Homer. The Bonus games are difficult and confusing, while the Bosses are EXTREMELY easy to defeat and all of the tasks needed are just plain retarded. If you want to know should I buy this game "Yes/No" then donot buy this game, but if you're still curious I recommend that you rent this games before you buy it.
